The Glenwood Preserve Open Space, open to the public as of spring 2019, offers three miles of walking and biking trails and gentle gradients, making it ideal for hiking, running and group fitness activities. The pet-friendly West Glenwood Preserve Trails feature several bridges and gentle gradients. Whether you’re looking to explore the area’s history or simply enjoy its natural beauty, Scotts Valley is worth a visit.

Scotts Valley is a great place to relax and have some fun. There’s Skypark, where you can picnic, play ball, go skateboarding, play tennis, or take a walk along one of the many trails. And if you’re traveling with a furry friend, there’s even a Bark Park! Skypark is also the only place in Santa Cruz County with a huge fireworks display during the Fourth of July.

If you’re looking for something to eat, Bruno’s Bar and Grill is a wonderful option. This Scotts Valley restaurant is known for hosting events for all sorts of occasions, like the Super Bowl, Mardi Gras, and Saint Patrick’s Day. And their food is pretty darn good too – I highly recommend their Savage Burger and their Wing Wednesdays.

Finally, don’t forget to check out the Scotts Valley Farmer’s Market. During the summer months, they have a special Pop Up Breakfast series where local chefs bring their delicious creations right to the market using only local produce. The Hiram D. Scott House is an historic property located in Santa Cruz County, California. Built in 1853, the house is a Santa Cruz County Historical Trust Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house sits on a park-like setting, featuring picnic areas, a playground and more! The property is open to the public for tours and is a great place to learn about the history of Santa Cruz County!
