September brings cooler mornings, back to school routines, and a whole lot of moments worth remembering, made even sweeter by time with family and friends.

|
|
Shawndy soaked up the last bit of summer with a couple of long weekends with the kids. She and her son took a trip down to LA to visit her daughter, filling their days with beach bike rides, shopping, and eating their way around town under that gorgeous Southern California sun. She also squeezed in a family glamping trip, splashing and swimming in the Yuba River and soaking up a few more lake days before things got busy again. It was the kind of slow, easy stretch that made for some great last memories of summer before everyone headed back to school.
Kimberly and the Ward household, on the other hand, jumped straight into back-to-school mode. They kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with a sophomore finishing up his driver’s license, a freshman, a sixth grader, and a second grader- four kids, four different schedules, and life moving in fast-forward. The gray hairs are arriving just as quickly. Between carpools and homework, work stayed just as busy, with the team helping new and longtime clients kick off their next real estate adventures.
August also brought some exciting news on the work front: Elisa Silva officially joined as full-time Director of Operations!
